Hi All,

After the long search by Greene King HQ, your new Manager will be taking over in a few weeks time - more on the new appointment will be issued on this webpage when everything is finalised.

We will be having a going away bash on Saturday 19th April, we would love it if everyone we've come to know and love would be able to come along, Dee and friends will be providing live music and a disco later in the evening.

May we take the opportunity to say Thanks to everyone who we have met over the past 17 years and the friendships we have made, it'll be a sad day when we actually leave, so many memories.

As most of you know, we are moving only down the road  to the College Oak, and hope we will see you there over the coming months, Carol and I are looking forward to a new challenge and the prospect of building a new business

May I also thank all those who have contributed to the success of the Bowyers over the years, who have done this either for little or no reward.

I could go on and on, but I'd like to thank the Team at the Bowyers - without which we couldn't have made it this far, we have employed somewhere between 65-69 employees and i'd say 95% of them i would gladly take with me to the new business, we've had some great times and you've worked your hearts out and kept smiling - i raise my glass to you !

Hi All,

It is now official, Carol and I will be leaving the Bowyers in a month or two, we have accepted a job offer from Greene King which we feel we need at this present time. We will miss everyone - you have all been so friendly to us over the last 17 years, the success of the Bowyers will march on, and a new era will begin. We'll see you all before we go off into the sunset.

As many of you know, we have been running a 'Hit the Bull' competition over the last 5 months or so, one person had the chance every Wednesday and Thursday night to hit the Bull with 3 darts, for some unknown reason no-one managed to do it when they were drawn first out of the hat - but Jutty Dixon did manage it with his second dart, and he walked away with £500!

We shall be doing this great event again in the Summer, so get practising guys.

Hi Beach Bums, as it's floods, misery and recession on the horizon, we have decided to get into the spirit of summer, we can't be waiting all that time for the rays to hit our beaten brows once more.

So we're having an indoor beach party on Saturday 2nd Feb, starting at 8pm.

Get your bikinis on girls and lads get those string vests out and knotted hankies, we'll have some fun and games, cocktails, disco, best beach bum comp, and prizes to win as well .

Lads- NO white socks and sandals, I've got to draw the line somewhere!

Please forgive me for not adding any info to the website since the begining of December, we have been snowed under from day one with Christmas parties.

May I thank all those who came to the Bowyers over the festive period, it was one of the best and busiest Christmas's we have had.

Many thanks for the great feedback regarding the New Year's Eve party as well.
